We co-operate with other organisations to increase the effectiveness of our efforts together.

BetterWorld Cameroon (BWC) is a Community Based Organisation registered in Cameroon in 1996 for training young people in bio diversity conservation and natural resource management. We are dedicated to the promotion of youth employment through the use of organic gardening, appropriate technologies, culture and building friendly relations with organisations and people who support poverty reduction in Africa. The organization’s focus is on a Youth Community Garden called “Ndanifor” which trains youth on land–based skills geared towards self employment. The Ndanifor garden sensitizes the youth and the general public on the importance of biodiversity and its great contribution towards food security and poverty alleviation in Cameroon.
BWC-Logo
Ndanifor refers to an indigenous concept representing the traditional values of reconnecting youth to the land and their culture as a source of livelihood. The “Spirit of Ndanifor” is about adapting indigenous knowledge using informal education to the way today’s youth sees the future; BWC is adapting vocational education and training programmes to the realities of underprivileged young Cameroonians.

Ape Alliance
The Ape Alliance is an international coalition of organisations and individuals, working for the conservation and welfare of apes.
The Ape Alliance supported the UN Year of the Gorilla campaign 2009. Not only was Ape Alliance chairman Ian Redmond OBE the Ambassador for the UN YoG but also, many of our member organisations organised special events during the year - find out more at www.YoG2009.org and view the YoG Blog. Read the YoG Epilogue to see how the ideas behind YoG integrate with 2010 the UN International Year of Biodiversity.

WAGI-Wildlife Action Group International: The Wildlife Action Group International was established in 2007 by Susanne Kneissl and Georg Kloeble, who have been involved in nature conservation projects in Malawi, Africa since 1994. The charitable organization has been registered in Germany, focusing on animal welfare and the protection and conservation of wildlife and natural resources.
